Bhagavad Gita & Yoga Retreat NEW

With Amma’s blessings, Amrita Silent Retreats is offering its first 5-day immersion into the Bhagavad Gita and Yoga. The course weaves together Brahmachari Atmaprakash Chaitanya’s profound knowledge of the scriptures with Narendra & Vinod’s inspired yoga classes.

The scripture section of the retreat centers on Chapter 12, verses 12-13 of the Bhagavad Gita, where Lord Krishna illuminates the path of Bhakti Yoga (Devotion), focusing on 16 qualities a true devotee embodies, including friendliness, anger management, and compassion.

The yoga classes will continue the exploration of noble values found in the Bhagavad Gita. The course is available for all levels of yoga practitioner. Although beginners and people with injuries may find a few of the classes challenging, they are still most welcome to participate. The instructors will offer variations of more difficult postures to accommodate all.
