Silent Retreats
Amrita Silent Retreats provide a unique opportunity to journey within, immersing yourself
in silence and spiritual practices. They help shift your energy inward, away from external distractions, and toward inner peace. Open to all levels, most retreats include sitting and walking meditations with Amma’s MA OM Technique, yoga, satsang, words on practice, prayer, archana chanting, Q&A sessions, and live Zoom meetings. Translations are available in many languages.
In meditation you become silent,
and remain at rest in your own True Self.

“We should meditate regularly and sincerely, without stopping, until we attain one-pointedness of mind. Once the seeds are sown, we should water them every day until the seedlings grow and reach a certain level. It may take some time for the sprouts of spirituality to emerge. Sprinkle the waters of spiritual practice regularly without fail and wait patiently.”
